Perlindungan Konsumen Terhadap Pengguna Electronic Commerce Shopee Pada Transaksi Jual Beli Pakaian di Konveksiana Banjarsari Surakarta

Abstrak

It is undeniable that electronic transactions through e-commerce shopee, in addition to providing benefits, still have many problems that are detrimental to consumers, such as orders sent not in accordance with those ordered by consumers, and others. This study aims to analyze the responsibility of the convection store if consumers experience losses during transactions at the e-commerce shopee, and the sanctions that the convection store will receive if they commit violations in buying and selling transactions at e-commerce shopee. This study uses an empirical research method with the research location of the Banjarsari Surakarta convection store which sells all its products through e-commerce shopee which is then analyzed using laws and legal theories. Data collection methods in this study include field surveys, interviews and observations, and literature research. Data analysis includes data reduction, data visualization, and drawing conclusions. The results, First: the responsibility of the convection store if the consumer experiences a loss during a transaction at the Shopee e-commerce store is that the convection store has the responsibility to provide compensation according to the compensation claim submitted by the consumer, namely in the form of returning goods and/or funds to the consumer if the consumer can prove that there was indeed an error that was detrimental to the consumer from the convection store. Second: the sanctions that the convection store will receive if it commits a violation in a buying and selling transaction at the Shopee e-commerce are that consumers can give negative ratings/reviews and 1 star to the Shopee convection store, while the Shopee e-commerce will give sanctions in the form of penalty points to the convection store, the most fatal consequence is that the Shopee convection store can be permanently closed by the Shopee e-commerce.
