Penegakan Kode Etik Badan Adhoc Penyelengara Pemilihan Kepala Daerah 2024 dan Penyelesaian Pelanggaran Kode Etik Oleh KPU Kota Surakarta

Abstrak

This study discussed the enforcement of the Code of Ethics for the Adhoc Agency for the Election and the Settlement of Violations of the Code of Ethics by the KPU of the City of Surakarta, the principle of a fair election actually wanted to oversee the election as a procedure for the transition of power constitutionally. The existence of violations of ethical ethics elections can certainly injure the implementation of elections, enforcement of the code of ethics is one of the crucial aspects of the implementation of the Regional Head Election (Pilkada), especially for Adhoc Organizers who play an important role in ensuring the integrity of the election process. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the enforcement of the Code of Ethics for Adhoc Organizers in the elections on the implementation of honest, fair, and transparent elections and settlements carried out by the Surakarta City KPU. The method used in this study uses empirical research methods. The nature of this research is descriptive analysis. The results showed that, first, the legal framework for handling violations of the Ethics Code of Election of Regional Heads in 2024 in Indonesia was the mandate of Law Number 7 of 2017, and as stipulated in DKPP Regulation Number 2 of 2019 that the mechanism for handling violations of the KPU Adhoc Code of Ethics was handed over to the City/Regency KPU Urgency. Democratic, in order to realize the organizer of elections with integrity, so as to create a fair election.
